Sawyer is an AI agent designed specifically for game development teams. It works on tasks such as fixing bugs, optimizing game performance, analyzing player feedback, and reporting on churn. Sawyer understands the entire game project—from code to assets to scene data—without requiring context copy-pasting. It can take actions directly, such as editing scenes, generating objects, or integrating code changes. Sawyer connects to tools like Jira, Git, and Discord. It includes a lightweight code editor within Unity for reviewing and editing code changes, and an in-built memory system for handling complex, long-horizon tasks. Playbooks allow automation of complex workflows using // commands. Sawyer runs locally or on a private cloud, supports multiple LLM backends (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source, self-hosted), and enforces non-training protocols for data privacy. It is currently available to limited customers via a waitlist.
