Iris roads is an infratech solution that uses AI and computer vision to automate road patrolling and roadway asset data collection. The end-to-end system includes the irisGO AI-enabled dash camera, which is installed on patrol vehicles, buses, waste trucks, or static locations, and the irisCITY AI-driven data visualization dashboard. The solution helps monitor and repair road defects such as potholes and cracks, detect up to 300 types of damaged or missing roadway assets (e.g., traffic signs, street lights, pavement markings, graffiti), and evaluate Pavement Condition Index (PCI) by identifying cracks, rutting, roughness, and other distresses. It also supports roadway asset inventory, capturing attributes like sign codes, text, street names, and asset size. The system integrates with existing work order management systems, ERPs, and Maintenance Decision Support Systems (MDSS), including CityWorks and Cartegraph. Automated image redaction protects public privacy. The solution is used by public and private sector organizations globally, including cities like Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, and Greeley, Colorado.
