Aider

Aider is a terminal-based tool that lets you pair program with large language models (LLMs) to start new projects or build on existing codebases. It works with cloud and local LLMs, including Claude 3.7 Sonnet, DeepSeek R1 & Chat V3, OpenAI o1, o3-mini & GPT-4o, and can connect to almost any LLM. Aider maps your entire codebase to work well in larger projects, supports over 100 programming languages, and automatically commits changes with sensible commit messages via Git integration. It can be used from within your favorite IDE or editor by adding comments to your code. Additional features include adding images and web pages for visual context, voice-to-code input, automatic linting and testing, and the ability to copy/paste code with an LLM's web chat interface.
