Decato is an interior design app for macOS that starts from a floor plan instead of a photo. Upload a plan as a photo, PDF or sketch: Decato reads the walls, doors and windows, zones the space into rooms, and lays out furniture to actual scale, checking clearances and door swings so nothing is placed where it cannot physically fit. The furniture is real. Products are matched from retailer catalogues against the room’s dimensions, so every piece on the plan is something a client can order. From the same project you get photorealistic renders of each zone, a priced shopping list and a client-ready presentation. It is built for interior designers and homeowners who need a room specified, not just visualised.
