Perchance is a platform for creating and sharing random generators. It uses a simple list-based syntax where items are randomly selected from named lists. Users can define lists with weighted probabilities, import other generators, and apply text transformations like capitalization and pluralization. The platform is designed to be accessible without coding knowledge, yet powerful enough for complex generators. Generators can be shared via URL, embedded in websites, downloaded as HTML files, or turned into bots for Twitter, Tumblr, or Discord. Perchance also supports an unofficial API server setup. It is built on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and aims to introduce users to programming concepts through a fun, interactive experience.
