ONE WISH WILLOW

ONE WISH WILLOW is a free browser-based 3D interactive story built around a single fictional ritual: you inspect a mysterious willow package, write or speak one wish, then break the branch to read a fable-like outcome shaped by the theme of your words. It is an independent fan tribute inspired by the atmosphere and wish-willow concept of the film Obsession, and is not an official or authorized film website.

The Ritual

The experience unfolds in four steps: observe the package by dragging it in 360 degrees, unseal it by pulling the paper sleeve left, confess a wish by typing or using the browser's native speech recognition, and break the willow by dragging down to reveal the consequence your desire has cast.

How Results Are Made

After the willow breaks, AI interprets the intent of the wish and writes a unique fictional result. The system tries an OpenRouter free model first and falls back to the cheapest compatible paid model only when free inference is unavailable. Kind, constructive wishes keep a positive echo through growth, responsibility, connection, courage, or opportunity, while extreme, greedy, or harmful wishes receive a cost as a side effect.

Other Paths

Beyond the main ritual, the site offers a Literal Wish Receipt, which fulfills every word of one sentence a little too precisely, and a Dangerous Wish Test, a seven-question quiz of about 90 seconds that reveals the wish you are most likely to make and its cost.

Requirements

Nothing to install: a modern browser with WebGL is enough. Primary interactions work with a mouse, touchscreen, or phone. Voice input is optional, and the full typed flow works without microphone permission.
