Sorted

Sorted is a macOS application that uses OpenAI's API to automatically organize messy folders. It intelligently sorts files by analyzing their names and extensions, grouping them into appropriately named subfolders. The app supports two sorting modes: "Sort by Extension" (organizes files by file type) and "Sort by Name" (uses AI to group files into meaningfully named folders). Sorted is a one-time purchase that provides a lifetime license. It requires a valid OpenAI API key with a payment method and credits set up. The app does not look inside file contents or delete files. It also offers an optional Autosort feature that monitors a folder every 60 seconds and moves newly added files into appropriate subfolders. Additional settings allow users to exclude recently added files from sorting.
