Chippy is a Chrome browser extension that brings ChatGPT capabilities to any webpage, allowing you to summarize, research, translate, and answer questions without leaving your current tab. Designed for ease of use, it features one-click text selection, suggested prompts for quick starts, and a focused search mode that narrows queries to the current page’s content. The email assistant helps you draft replies directly from your inbox. Chippy uses GPT-3.5 with a free daily allowance of 20 queries; for higher usage or access to GPT-4, you provide your own OpenAI API key. All conversations and your API key are stored locally in your browser, with no account required and no browsing history tracking. Available for Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers.
